Giorgi Zhamutashvili, Brooklyn (Fr., Georgia)
Zhamutashvili finished 2-0 at No. 1 singles for the Bulldogs in a 1-1 week, including a win against Mount Saint Vincent. He also recorded a win at No. 1 doubles against the Dolphins.
CUNYAC Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Joshua Bey, Baruch (Fr., Harlem, N.Y.)
Bey was 2-1 at No. 5 singles on the week with victories against Merchant Marine and Division II Adelphi. He also earned a doubles triumph against USMMA, and fell in his doubles match against Division I NJIT 6-4.
CUNYAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Samuel Park, Baruch (So., Edinburgh, Scotland)
Park finished 2-1 at No. 3 singles with wins over Merchant Marine and Division II Adelphi last week. He also dropped a 6-4, 3-6, 2-6 decision at No. 3 to Division I opponent NJIT.
