Baruch's Peter Gavroff Named February CUNYAC/HSS Scholar-Athlete of the Month

NEW YORK - Baruch College senior men's volleyball student-athlete Peter Gavroff was recently named the CUNY Athletic Conference/Hospital for Special Surgery Scholar-Athlete of the Month for February, 2026.

The 2025 CUNYAC men's volleyball Player of the Year, Gavroff has been the leader of the Bearcats on the court again this season.  During the month of February, he led the Bearcats to a 5-1 overall record, racking up 65 kills (3.61 kps) while hitting .336.  He also racked up 33 digs, five blocks and seven service aces.  Gavroff was named the men's volleyball Player of the Week on February 17.

Gavroff, a two-time CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Championship MVP, is a Finance major with a minor in Psychology.  A team captain, he also competed on Baruch's swimming team during the 2023-24 season.
