Championship MVP Lindo Leads Medgar Evers to Third Straight CUNYAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Title.

RESULTS

NEW YORK - Medgar Evers freshman Brianna Lindo earned points for the Cougars in 10 events, earning 2025-26 CUNY Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship Most Valuable Performer honors as she led her team to their third straight CUNYAC title Sunday night at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory.

Medgar Evers, which earned its third overall title in program history, finished with 168 points to outdistance runnerup Hunter, which compiled 150.  CCNY placed third with 114 points, with Lehman (22) and York (1) rounding out the field.

Lindo took home gold in four individual events, taking first in the triple jump (10.91m), the long jump (5.01m), the 60m hurdles (9.27) and the high jump (1.50m), which she tied with Hunter's Daria Niebrzydowski.  She was also part of the Cougars' winning winning DMR squad (14:36.46).

In addition, she earned silver in the weight throw (11.05m) and the 200 (26.51) while coming in third in the 60 meter dash (8.22) and the 800 (2:36.68).  She rounded out her performance with a sixth place finish in the shot put (8.68m).

CCNY rookie Jennifer Hepburn dominated the sprints, taking gold in the 60 meter dash (8.02), the 200 (26.26) and the 400 (1:00.71).  Hunter senior Shannon Ferri came home first in the mile (5:33.34) and the 3000 (11:35.41).

City College senior Serena Warner placed first in the weight throw (13.87m) and the shot put (11.40m).  Hunter's Mikaelle Cesar crossed the line first in the 800 (2:30.94).  The Hawks were victorious in the women's 4x400 relay (4:26.74).  Hunter senior Taelyn Murray recorded three second place finishes in the triple jump (10.50m), the long jump (4.78m) and the shot put (9.72m) while placing third in the 60 meter hurdles (10.50).
