Heaven Figueroa Named WBCA Honorable Mention All American

BRONX, N.Y. - Lehman College women's basketball standout Heaven Figueroa was named a WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) Honorable Mention All American on Thursday.

This Saturday, Figueroa will be participating in the WBCA All Star Game in Virginia as part of the D 3 Final Four festivities.

Figueroa, was a CUNYAC All-Star and currently ranks third in country in scoring averaging 24.8 points per contest. She was a two-time CUNYAC Player of the Week and earned D3hoops.com National Team of Week Recognition back in mid-January. She also leads the squad in rebounding (8.8 rpg) and ranks second on the team in assists (89) which both rank sixth in CUNYAC. Her 122 steals lead the team and rank second in the conference.
