CUNYAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field - Track Athlete of the Week
Aaliyah Bartholomew - Medgar Evers

At the Utica Fast Trax Invite, Bartholomew posteda time of 9.87 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles to place 10th.  In the 60-meter dash she posted an 8.50 in the prelims to qualify for the finals before coming in eighth at 9.01 in the finals.  In the 600 Bartholomew ran 2:05.30 to come in fifth.  She posted a fourth-place finish in the high jump (1.42 meters) and was fifth in the long jump (4.98 meters) and sixth in the triple jump (10.10 meters).  Her long jump was a new MEC school record.

Nia Butler, Medgar Evers
 
Butler registered a throw of 11.83 meters in the weight throw at Utica on Saturday.  She also posted a mark of 8.55 meters in the shot put.
 
CUNYAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field - Rookie of the Week
Thenica Thompson, Medgar Evers
 
Thompson finished fifth in the 60-meter dash finals at Utica with a time of 8.19 seconds.  In the 200 she ran a 27.41 (26.99 converted) and in the 400 she placed eighth with a mark of 1:05.19 (1:04.34 converted).

CUNYAC Women's Indoor Track & Field - Honorable Mention
Sherley Bonne-Annee, York

Bonne-Anne had a career-best in the shot put (7.03 meters) at the Army West Point Tune-Up.  She also competed in the 200, checking in at 33.47 seconds.
