John Jay Draws No. 10 Williams to Open NCAA Women's Soccer Championship

INDIANAPOLIS - 2025 CUNY Athletic Conference women's soccer champion John Jay will travel to No. 10 nationally Williams College to take on the Ephs in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship on Saturday, November 15.

The Bloodhounds (11-2-3) won the 2025 CUNYAC championship after defeating third-seeded CCNY 3-0 in Saturday's final.  For John Jay, it marks the program's fifth conference crown in the last six seasons.  The top-seeded Bloodhounds posted two shutouts en route to the title, as they blanked Lehman 9-0 in the championship semifinals.  John Jay enters the NCAAs on a seven-match win streak.

The Bloodhounds are making their fifth NCAA appearance all-time, with all five coming since 2019.

Williams (12-2-4) sits No. 10 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25.  The Ephs reached the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) final and tied 1-1 with Tufts before the Jumbos earned the conference's automatic qualifier 5-3 in PKs.  Williams is unbeaten in its last six contests.

The Ephs are making their 24th all-time NCAA appearance and are back after a one-year absence from the field.

Saturday's Williams-John Jay winner will face the winner of Saturday's Vassar-Mary Washington first round contest at Williams on Sunday.
