CUNYAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field - Track Athlete of the Week
Katryna Francois, York

Francois set three new personal-bests at the Fastrack National Invite. She set a new PR in the 60m with a CUNYAC qualifying time of 8.53. Francois also produced the league’s fastest time in the 200m with a CUNYAC qualifying mark of 27.78. In the 400m, she set a new PR of 1:07.19, good for No. 3 in the conference.

Aminata Sissoko, Lehman
Jr., New York, N.Y. / HS for Health Profession & Human Services
At the CNY Valentine Alternative, Sissoko produced the league’s top mark in the triple jump with a CUNYAC qualifying leap of 10.01m.
CUNYAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Track - Rookie of the Week
Nia Butler, Medgar Evers
Fr., Brooklyn, N.Y. / Palo Verde
Butler set two personal records at the CNY Valentine Alternative. She set a new school record in the weight throw with a CUNYAC qualifying heave of 10.39m, now ranked No. 2 in the conference. She also posted a new PR in the shot put with a toss of 8.29m.
The 2024 CUNYAC Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship is scheduled for Sunday, February 18 at The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory.

The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) is an NCAA Division III and NJCAA Division III conference with 14 members that reach across all five boroughs of New York City.
