2023 CUNYAC/HSS Men’s Tennis Championship Bracket Announced

FLUSHING, N.Y. (April 19, 2023) –
Now that the regular season has come to an end, the tournament field for the 2023 CUNYAC/HSS Men's Tennis Championship is set. Six teams with championship aspirations will compete for conference bragging rights on Thursday, April 27 at the iconic USTA National Tennis Center.
 
Baruch, the four-time defending conference champions, is the tournament's No. 1 overall seed and receives an opening-round bye. The Bearcats are 11-4 overall, including a perfect 5-0 record against conference opponents to win a fifth consecutive regular season championship.
 
Brooklyn is the No. 2 seed and earned a first-round bye into the semifinal round after finishing 4-1 against conference opponents this season.
 
Hunter, last season's runner-up, is the No. 3 seed in the bracket after going 3-2 in CUNYAC play this season. Lehman comes in at No. 4 after going 2-3 against conference opponents in the regular season.
 
John Jay is seeded fifth in the bracket followed by York to round out the field.
 
The 2023 CUNYAC/HSS Men's Tennis Championship is scheduled for Apr. 20-27. First Round action is slated for Thursday, Apr. 20 at higher seed, followed by the semifinals on Sunday, Apr. 23. The championship match is set for Apr. 27 at 3:00 p.m. at the iconic USTA National Tennis Center.
