Hagar Elwan led Kingsborough to a pair of CUNYAC victories, averaging 19.3 points per game across three contests. In the Wave’s 56-51 win over BMCC, the sophomore finished with a team-high 19 points, five assists, five rebounds and two steals. Closing out the slate against LaGuardia, Elwan dropped a game-high 23 points along with four assists and a pair of blocks.

Demaris Andrews, BMCC

During a tough see-saw battle on the road against Kingsborough, Demaris Andrews continued to be the Panther's go-to player. Andrews registered her team-best third 20-point scoring effort with 25 points in addition to tying for a team-best with seven rebounds during their tough 56-51 loss.
The 2023 CUNYAC Community College Women’s Basketball Championship is scheduled to begin with semifinal action on Tuesday, Feb. 14, followed by the final on Friday, Feb. 17. The semifinals and final will be played at BMCC.
