In BMCC’s 74-58 road victory at Kingsborough, the sophomore scored a game-high 18 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
CUNYAC/Healthfirst Community College Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week

Justice Carrington put together a strong week to help the Caimans to a 3-0 week. The rookie produced 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals in a victory over the Mount Saint Vincent JV team. Against Bridgeport JV, Carrington turned in a stat sheet of 17 points, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. The Caimans then faced CUNYAC rival Queensborough, finishing with 12 points, four steals and three blocks.
The 2023 CUNYAC Community College Men’s Basketball Championship is scheduled to begin with semifinal action on Wednesday, Feb. 15, followed by the tournament final on Friday, Feb. 17. The semifinals and final will be played at BMCC.
