CHARLOTTE, N.C. - After a dominant 2023-24 campaign and leading the nation in scoring average at 30.9 points per game, LaGuardia Community College guard Arthur Dukes received 2023-24 NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball All-American First Team honors.
Dukes filled it up during the 2023-24 season, scoring 20 or more points in 18 of his 21 contests, including nine games of 30 or more points, five contests with 40 or more points, and two 50-point performances. Dukes hit the 50-point mark, his career high twice on the season against CUNYAC opponent Kingsborough Community College on December 9 and Passaic County Community College on January 4.
Dukes finished second nationally in free throws made (180) and attempted (221) and third in the country in points (648) while scoring in double figures in all 21 games he played this season. He was named CUNYAC Community College Player Of The Year and earned NJCAA Region XV Player of the Year recognition.
