Mac-Dege Dessources earns Player of the Week honors for a second time this season following a dominant performance in non-conference play. The senior produced season-highs in points (26), rebounds (21) and blocks (7) in a victory over Pratt, notching her fourth double-double of the year and 48th of her career.
CUNYAC/Healthfirst Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week

Sheily Quezada turned in a strong performance in the Cougars’ non-conference win over Pratt. The rookie finished with game-highs in points (21) and rebounds (14), while producing four steals and three blocks.
The 2023 CUNYAC Women’s Basketball Championship is scheduled to begin on Saturday, Feb. 18 with first round action at higher seeds, followed by semifinal contests at higher seeds on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The final is slated for Friday, Feb. 24 at CCNY.
