Boodha, a three-time CUNYAC Rookie of the Week honoree, was an integral member of Brooklyn’s second-place finish at the championships, its best finish in program history.

The rookie was crowned league champion in the 100-breastroke (1:00.77) and 100-backstroke (58.27), while fueling an 800-freestlye relay squad to a gold medal performance with a time of 7:51.21.

“I feel honored and accomplished,” said Boodha. “I credit this award to my teammates and coaches for pushing each other every meet and practice. This year is just the beginning for future success.”

Coach of the Year: Charles Lampasso, Baruch
Lampasso receives Coach of the Year recognition for a second consecutive year, guiding Baruch to an 8-2 record in dual meets, winning its final six competitions, en route to its third straight league championship. Lampasso is now a 10-time CUNYAC Men’s Coach of the Year honoree.

“I feel very honored to receive this award," says Lampasso. "The teams did very well this year and I am very excited to receive this recognition.  It is a reflection on the entire coaching staff, which we could not have the success without them. I thank those that voted for me.”
