Echevarria averaged 8.17 assists and 1.0 service aces per set last week for the nationally ranked Bearcats, who went 4-0 last week (3-0 CUNYAC). He dished out 36 assists to go with a week-high eight digs against Ramapo (Feb. 15), before hitting .667 (9-1-12), serving four aces and handing out 22 helpers at Medgar Evers (Feb. 17). In a CUNYAC multi-match against City Tech and CCNY on Saturday (Feb. 19), Echevarria combined for seven aces (five vs. City Tech) and 40 assists in helping Baruch to hit .389 and .418, respectively.

Now a three-time Rookie of the Week honoree, Helmi registered a .271 hitting percentage (47-24-85) to go with averages of 3.62 kills and 1.15 service aces per set. He hit .419 with 19 kills, five aces and three blocks (two solo) against CCNY (Feb. 17), while hitting .318 (13-6-22) with six aces against Yeshiva (Feb. 16). Helmi added two service aces apiece in a CUNYAC tri-match against Hunter and Medgar Evers (Feb. 19).
