CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Matthew Fridburg, Hunter (So., GK, Hewlett, N.Y.)

Fridburg made nine saves in Hunter’s 1-0 conference victory over John Jay. He played all 90 minutes and recorded his first shutout of the season.

CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week
Shammar Edwards, Medgar Evers (Fr., M)

Edwards scored two goals in Medgar Evers’ 7-0 non-conference victory over York. The freshman converted a penalty kick and placed three of his four shots on goal.

CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)

Konstantinos Psomaras, CCNY (Jr., F, Kalamata, Messinia)

Psomaras recorded a goal and an assist in CCNY’s 3-1 conference-opening victory over Brooklyn. He scored the game-winning goal and contributed to two of the Beavers’ three tallies.
