Player of the Year: Amar Ndiaye, Lehman
Ndiaye is the first Lightning men's basketball player to earn Player of the Year honors since Isaiah Geathers in 2022-23. This season, Ndiaye led Lehman to a 14-0 record in conference play by averaging 11.5 points and a conference-best 10,8 rebounds per game while shooting 55.7% from the floor. A three-time CUNYAC Player of the Week, Ndiaye recorded 12 double-doubles this season.
Rookie of the Year: Jonte Wallace, York
The third straight Rookie of the Year for the Cardinals, Wallace, a six-time CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, averaged 13.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, helping lead York to the No. 4 seed in the conference championship. He ranked fifth in the conference in scoring, led the conference in field goal percentage among qualifiers, and finished in double figures in scoring 17 times in 22 games.
Coach of the Year: Steven Schulman, Lehman
Schulman was named the league's Coach of the Year for the sixth time in his 25 seasons and the first since 2021-22. This season he has guided the Lightning to a 19-6 overall record, including the first unbeaten CUNYAC regular season (14-0) since the College of Staten Island went 16-0 in 2016-17. The Lightning rank first nationally in rebound margin No. 4 nationally in field goal percentage defense and ride a 14-game win streak into Thursday's championship game, currently the fourth-longest win streak in Division III.
