Lehman's Heaven Figueroa Named to WBCA Division III All-Star Game

ATLANTA - Lehman's Heaven Figueroa has been selected by the coaches of the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) to participate in this years'  Division III All Star Game. 
 
Figueroa is one of 20 student athletes from around the country selected to play in the contest that will take place at 1 p.m. ET, Saturday, March 22, preceding the NCAA Division III women's basketball national championship game in the Cregger Center on the campus of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
 
Dixie Jeffers, retired head coach of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and Carroll LaHaye, retired head coach of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, will coach the teams.
 
Figueroa, was a CUNYAC All-Star and currently ranks third in country in scoring averaging 24.8 points per contest.  She was a two-time CUNYAC Player of the Week and earned National Team of Week Recognition back in mid-January.  She also leads the squad in rebounding (8.8rpg) and ranks second on the team in assists (89) which both ranks sixth in CUNYAC. Her 122 steals lead the team and ranks second in the conference.
