Statement from Lehman College on CUNYAC Men's Basketball Championship

"Due to the safeguards implemented, Lehman College Athletics, including the men’s basketball coaches, were informed on Wednesday that a men's basketball student athlete had been administratively withdrawn from classes. However, the student-athlete participated in Tuesday’s semifinal game against John Jay College. Upon learning this, we immediately contacted CUNYAC, and after consulting with CUNY Athletic Conference administrators, Lehman College has withdrawn from the CUNYAC Men’s Basketball Championship."

As a result, Friday's CUNYAC Men's Basketball Championship title game will feature No. 1 Baruch hosting No. 2 John Jay at 7 pm at Baruch's ARC Arena.
