AWARDS PROGRAM
ALL-TIME AWARD WINNERS

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The 51st Annual Athletic Awards Banquet took place on Tuesday evening, May 14, to honor the teams and student-athletes for their accomplishments during the successful 2023-24 season.

The Bearcats again gave out many awards and honors in room 14-220 of the Vertical Campus Building.

Mia Castillo (Women's Basketball) and Bennett Mackza (Men's Swimming) were named the Athletes of the Year.

Paz Moran (Women's Cross Country) and Mackza (Men's Swimming) were named the Newcomers of the Year.

Melanie Pellegrino '12, who played four seasons for the softball team (2009-12) and helped win their first CUNYAC Championship in 2010, was tonight's Alumni Reflection Speaker. Melanie finished her career as a two-time CUNYAC All-Star and two-time CUNYAC Champion.
