CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week
Muhammad Al-Amine Mbaye, Hunter
So., Harlem, N.Y. / Park East
 
At the New Paltz tri-match, Mbaye hit .365 with 33 kills, four aces, 14 digs and four total blocks. In a five-set loss to New Paltz, he recorded a game-high 18 kills and 11 digs. Closing out the trip with a four-set victory over SUNY Poly, the outside hitter hit .462 with 15 kills, three aces and three digs.
 
CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Aaron Siu, Brooklyn
Fr., Staten Island, N.Y. / Brooklyn Technical
 
Siu racked up 34 kills, 23 digs and three aces across three matches for the Bulldogs. In the team’s conference opener against Baruch, he hit .286 with nine kills and four digs. He produced a double-double against SUNY Potsdam, finishing with 14 kills and 10 digs. He closed out the slate with 11 kills and nine digs against Elms.
 
CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Jack Centeno, Baruch
Jr., Fair Lawn, N.J. / Fair Lawn
 
In Baruch’s conference-opening win over at Brooklyn, Centeno hit .529 with 11 kills, six digs and two aces. 
 
The 2024 CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Championship is scheduled for April 9-12. First Round action begins on Tuesday, Apr. 9, at higher seeds, followed by the semifinal round on Thursday, Apr. 11 at higher seeds. The tournament finale will be held on Friday, Apr. 12 at Baruch College.
