CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Daniel Fomenko, Baruch

Daniel had a big week as the Bearcats defeated Purchase, Medgar Evers, and Brooklyn for a 3-0 record. Daniel had a hat-trick on Wednesday at Purchase and also scored a goal in the win against Medgar Evers. He finished the week with 4 goals, 8 points, and 5 shots on goal.This season, in six matches he has totaled six goals.

CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week
Andreas Kotronis, Baruch

Andreas helped the Beacats to three wins last week against Purchase, Medgar Evers and Brooklyn. He had a big match in the 6-2 win at Purchase recording three assists, his first career assists of his intercollegiate career. He totaled four shots in the three matches last week for the Bearcats who are tied for first place.

CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Bradley Espejo, Hunter

Bradley Espejo led the Hawks in their 6-0 conference win over York this week as he took seven shots, with four on goal, scoring two goals in addition to an assist in his 73 minutes of play.

The 2024 CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Championship will take place from October 30 through November 9. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will be hosted by the higher seed for each of the first two rounds. The opening round is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30 followed by the semifinals on Saturday, November 2, and concluding with the championship match on Saturday, November 9 at Queens College.
