Maleea Gallaspy turned in a strong week for the Bloodhounds, which included a 4-2 mark at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic. For the week, she batted .385, collecting a team-high 10 hits in 26 at-bats. Gallaspy produced six doubles and drove in five runs, including four against Brockport.

First-year Elika Rodrigues enjoyed a solid eight games, helping John Jay to a 4-2 mark in Florida and a 4-4 overall record. She collected her first career hit against Clark and added to more hits while driving in her first career RBI against Drew. Against MCLA in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, the rookie went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and drove in three RBI while recording three stolen bases.
 
The 2023 double-elimination CUNYAC Softball Championship is slated to begin on Thursday, May 11 and conclude on Friday, May 12 at Brooklyn College.
