Baruch's Jules Wychunas Named to 2026 DIII Softball All-ECAC Team

DANBURY, Conn. –
  Baruch College sophomore shortstop Jules Wychunas earned a spot on the 2026 DIII Softball All-ECAC Regional Team, as announced by the Eastern College Athletic Conference on Friday, May 29.

The CUNYAC Player of the Year anchored the Bearcats at shortstop and delivered one of the most complete seasons in the region. She led the team and finished third in the conference with a .399 batting average, while also topping the charts in slugging percentage (.678) and OPS (1.142). Her offensive production included three home runs, 35 RBI, 13 doubles, and eight triples, showcasing both power and speed.

Defensively, Wychunas was just as reliable, recording 56 putouts, 58 assists, and a .950 fielding percentage.
