New York, New York – After putting together the program's best regular season since 2017 and the first-ever CUNYAC Women's Soccer Championship in program history, the Panthers were well represented on the 2023 NJCAA Women's Soccer All-Region 15 team, as announced by the Region today. Freshman Nathali Ocampo-Lopez (Quimbaya, Colombia) became the second straight Panther player named to the NJCAA All-Region 15 First Team after Lizbeth Vazquez received the honor last year.

Yamile Bastidas (Quito, Ecuador) grabbed All-Region 15 Second Team honors. Sophomore
Justine Hoppie (Brooklyn, New York) was named to the All-Region 15 Sportsmanship team.
Ocampo-Lopez put together one of the best overall seasons in program history in 2023, netting a team-high nine goals and three hat tricks (all against CUNYAC opponents) while posting a team-best 20 points. The Quimbaya, Colombia native's goal total is third most in a single season and fourth all-time. Her best game came during last Sunday's inaugural CUNYAC Community College Women's Soccer Championship Game. She was named the game's Most Valuable Player, registering a career-high seven points on three goals and an assist to go along with a career-best 11 shots.
Garcia had a career season in her second year with the program, serving as the chief of the Panthers attack with a team-high five assists while finding the back of the net six times and registering 17 points, which was second on the team. The Puebla, Mexico native's
best performance came in a dominant 10-1 victory over Kingsborough Community College on October 3, 2023, where she posted four single-game career bests with an eye-popping double digit 10 point game with her first career hat trick while also handing out a career-best four assists.
Her seven shots fired also were a personal best against the Wave. She also put on a show in the
CUNYAC's first-ever Championship game with five points on two goals and an assist.
Bastidas is another part of the Panther's big three this season, ranking third in (4) goals, points (10), and assists (2), with a career-best coming in a dominant victory over Kingsborough Community College on October 3, 2023, where she posted four points on two goals and two assists. She fired eight shots, also a personal best.
Hoppie made five starts this season and is a major energy driver for the Panthers on and off the field.
