In just their first season as a program, the Queensborough Community College women's soccer team had four players recognized for their efforts this season as voted on by the head coaches of Region XV.
Freshman goalkeeper Kiara Jimenez Diaz was named as the First Team All-Region goalkeeper, while fellow freshman midfielder Caroline Barahona and freshman forward Julia Wiacek were selected as Second Team All-Region honorees. Additionally, freshman defender Marlene Garcia was named to the Region XV Sportsmanship Team.
Each of these awards are the first of their kind for the program, as was the teams appearance in the 2023 CUNYAC Championship Game this past weekend.
