CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Marvin Mondesir, York

Mondesir led York to a season-opening victory for the first time since 2018 by powering the charge in a 2-0 home win against Bard College. Following a scoreless first half, Mondesir broke the scoring ice just 1:32 into the stanza and later scored the insurance goal to secure the win, handing the Raptors their first loss of the season.
 
CUNYAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Phillip Osei, Lehman
Fr., Westchester, N.Y./Westchester Square Academy
 
Osei scored a pair of goals over the weekend during Lehman’s road trip. The rookie found the back of the net against Cabrini, and scored again the following day against Eastern.
 
The 2022 CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Championship will take place from October 26 through November 5. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed for each of the first two rounds. The opening round is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26 followed by the semifinals on Saturday, October 29, and concluding with the championship match on Saturday, November 5 at Brooklyn College.
