Three Bronx Community College student-athletes were inducted into the Kappa Gamma Chapter (Bronx Community College's chapter) of the Alpha Beta Gamma International Honor Society. Alpha Beta Gamma is an international business honor society that recognizes excellence and scholarship among community college business students. To be eligible for membership of the BCC chapter, students must be enrolled as a business major, have completed 15 credit hours (with at least 12 credit hours taken in courses leading to a business degree), and have attained a 3.0 GPA in business courses and overall.
Among the inductees were
Steven Correa (Baseball),
N'Famara Diawara (Soccer) and
Christopher Mills (Men's Basketball), two of which were present at the ceremony. Interim Athletics Director
Kelly Peloquin was also on hand to witness the student-athletes be inducted into this prestigious society.
"We are extremely proud of our student-athletes and hope there are more to follow." said the Interim AD.
Certificates and stoles were presented to the inductees by President Thomas Isekenegbe and Professor Tom D'Arrigo after which the inductees were sworn into the Alpha Beta Gamma International Honor Society as members.
