Baruch Tabbed 2022 CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Preseason Favorites; Shankar Voted Preseason Player of the Year

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The City University of New York Athletic Conference has released its men’s volleyball preseason coaches poll, and Baruch College has been selected as the league favorite to win a second consecutive CUNYAC championship. In addition, Bearcats’ setter Stallone Shankar was voted Preseason Player of the Year.

Shankar recorded 415 assists in the 2020-shortened season, third-most in the conference. The Jackson Heights native also produced 67 digs, 18 services aces and 15 total blocks.
