BRONX, N.Y. (Oct. 30, 2022) – The Queensborough Community College won the 2022 CUNYAC Community College Men’s Cross Country Championship Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park.
Queensborough’s Renaediaz Miller was the community college individual champion, finishing 14th overall in the 8k race with a tie of 32:31. Teammate Nickolas Pirovolikos finished in 33:20, followed by LeAndre Simpson in 35:20 and Peter Hoffmann in 36:28.
“I knew I had to finish the race,” said Miller. “When you set your mind to something, don’t stop until you reach that goal. I train every day and I look myself in the mirror and tell myself I’m going to be better. You have to be mentally and physically prepared.”
