FLUSHING, N.Y. (Feb. 6, 2019) - The City University of New York Athletic Conference has named its 2018-19 All-Stars and year-end award recipients for men's swimming and diving, it was announced Wednesday.

Brooklyn's Thomas Wong was tabbed the Performer of the Year. Staten Island's Xavier Nicholson claimed Diver of the Year honors. Baruch's Erich Moeslinger and Charles Lampasso were selected as the Rookie and Coach of the Year, respectively.

Performer of the Year - Thomas Wong, Sr, Brooklyn
Wong excelled in breaststroke events for the Bulldogs, posting the second-fastest times in the conference in both the 50- (29.17) and 100-yard (1:02.00) disciplines. He earned bronze in the 100-breast at the CUNYAC Championships with a 1:01.30 clocking. Wong also finished in the Top 15 in the league in the 100-yard freestyle and 200 IM.

Diver of the Year - Xavier Nicholson, Fr, Staten Island
Nicholson was crowned as a conference champion in the one- and three-meter diving competitions, in his debut season as a collegiate diver. A two-time CUNYAC Diver of the Week, Nicholson won the one- and three-meter boards at each dual meet he appeared in this year.

Rookie of the Year - Erich Moeslinger, Fr, Baruch
Moeslinger impressed in his inaugural year as a Bearcat, clocking the league's best times in the 50- (27.26), 100- (58.39) and 200-yard backstroke (2:06.39). He also won the 200-back (2:08.62) and took silver in the 100-back (57.77) at the CUNYAC Championships. Additionally, Moeslinger had Top 5 times in the conference in the 200 and 400 IM.

Coach of the Year - Charles Lampasso, Baruch
Lampasso led the Bearcats to their second-straight CUNYAC title, as well as an undefeated 4-0 mark against conference opposition in the regular season. Baruch's 116-point margin of victory at the conference meet was the largest for a men's championship since 2012.
