CUNYAC/Shlepper’s Men's Volleyball Player of the Week
Anthony Reyes, CCNY
Outside Hitter/Senior/Ozone Park, NY/Richmond Hill
Anthony Reyes has been named the CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of 3/22 - 3/29. Reyes continued to demonstrate why he's one of the most dominant outside hitters in the conference this past week, averaging 6.36 kills per set and helping to clinch the sixth seed for CCNY. Reyes continues to rank among the top three in the nation in kills per set. The senior registered double-doubles in each of the Beavers’ three matches this week. In a 3-1 win over CSI, Reyes had 27 kills to go along with 17 digs. He followed that performance up with a 15 kill, 14 dig performance against Brooklyn in which he hit .448. He closed the week with 28 kills and 16 digs against Hunter. He averaged 24 kills and 15.6 digs per match on the week.
CUNYAC/Shlepper’s Men’s Volleyball Libero of the Week

Paramvir Singh has been named CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Libero of the Week for 3/22 - 3/29. Singh has been the anchor for the Cardinals as of late. Despite York going 0-2 on the week, Singh still had six digs in the loss to Baruch. Singh led the Cardinals with 10 digs in the match against Hunter.
CUNYAC/Shlepper’s Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Braden Carter has been named CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week for 3/22 - 3/29. Carter totaled 13 blocks in four matches this past week to help the Bearcats to a 3-1 record. He also compiled 15 kills, including a week-high 6 to go along with a .667 hitting percentage in a win over John Jay.

Lehman Lighting (15-9 Overall, 8-7 CUNYAC)

The Lightning went 3-0 in CUNYAC play this week. Lehman earned two wins against Medgar Evers, and one against the College of Staten Island. Lehman will host York College on Tuesday, for Senior Night, at 7:00 p.m.
John Jay Bloodhounds (11-10 Overall, 9-6 CUNYAC)
Last Week (1-3 Overall, 1-2 CUNYAC)
The Bloodhounds went 1-3 for the week and 1-2 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. John Jay fell to Baruch twice and defeated the College of Staten Island 3-0. The Bloodhounds currently sit fourth in the conference with a 9-6 record.
Medgar Evers Cougars (2-22 Overall, 1-14 CUNYAC)

The Men's Volleyball team went 0-3 this week. On Tuesday March. 24, they fell to Lehman College 3-0, then on this past Saturday March. 28, dropped a pair of conference games, Brooklyn (3-2) and Lehman (3-0)
York Cardinals (13-16 Overall, 11-4 CUNYAC)
Last Week (0-2 Overall, 0-2 CUNYAC)
The Cardinals went 0-2 over the weekend, losing to No. 10 Baruch and to Hunter on Saturday. Despite the losses, the Cardinals are 11-4 in the conference and are locked into the number three seed. Next up for the Cardinals will be on the road against Lehman College, Mar. 31, at 7 pm. They will then close out the regular season against The Sage Colleges and Vassar College, Apr. 4, beginning at 1 pm.
CCNY Beavers (7-20 Overall, 5-11 CUNYAC)
Last Week (2-1 Overall, 2-1 CUNYAC)
The CCNY men's volleyball team had their best week of the season this past week, claiming the sixth seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Tournament. On Saturday at their own multi-match, the Beavers swept Brooklyn then gave top-seeded Hunter a scare by taking the first set. It was the first conference set the Hawks have lost since February 16th.
Brooklyn Bulldogs (1-27 Overall, 1-14 CUNYAC)

The Brooklyn College Men's Volleyball team went 1-3 this past week, falling to Hunter, Vassar and CCNY, while defeating Medgar Evers. The Bulldogs will close out the 2015 regular season on Tuesday with a home match against John Jay.
Baruch Bearcats (18-6 Overall, 14-1 CUNYAC)
Last Week (3-1 Overall, 3-0 CUNYAC)
The Bearcats will host rival Hunter Tuesday night with first place on the line. The team lost in five sets earlier this year to the Hawks and that forces the Bearcats to win tomorrow night, or finish second. The Bearcats are ranked #10 in the latest AVCA D3 national poll.
