2026 CUNYAC Preseason Poll/Runners to Watch

CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Shannon Ferri, Hunter (Gr., Cold Spring, N.Y.)

Ferri opened her season at the 4K at the Purchase College Invitational. She completed the course in a personal-best 15:52.8 to place third overall.

CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week
Tatiana Marr, Hunter (Fr., Huntington, N.Y.)

Marr made her collegiate debut at the Purchase College Invitational, completing the 4K course in 17:57 to place 19th overall. 

CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Amanda Montano, Lehman (Fr., Bronx, N.Y.)

Montano finished 30th overall at Iona’s Br. Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions with a time of 23:09.0. The freshman was the top Division III finisher in the field.
