CUNYAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Track Athlete of the Week
Reco Griffith, Medgar Evers (So., Barbados, West Indies)
At the Delaware Invitational, Griffith placed second in the 400 with a time of 50.22 seconds, currently the top time in the conference. At the Gallaudet Bison Classic on Saturday, he placed third in the 100 (10.63) and sixth in the 200 (21.96) while also contributing to the Cougars' 4x100 meter relay squad (42.49) that placed second.
CUNYAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week
Omari Hinds, Medgar Evers (Jr., Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Hinds posted a mark of 1.85 meters in the high jump at the Delaware Invitational and the Bison Classic, currently the top mark in the conference. He also posted top marks for the week of 6.61 meters in the long jump and 12.51 meters in the triple jump.
CUNYAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week
Pharell Fowler, Medgar Evers (Fr., Jamaica, West Indies)
Fowler posted a time of 10.76 seconds at the Bison Classic to place seventh in the 100-meter dash, currently the No. 2 time in the conference in the event. He also ran a time of 21.86 seconds in the 200 at the Delaware Invitational to come home first. Fowler also contributed to the Cougars' 4x100 (42.49) and 4x400 (4:21.86) relays at Gallaudet.
CUNYAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Marc Saint Hilaire, Lehman (Jr., Bronx, N.Y.)
Posted a time of 50.43 seconds in the 400 at the Queens Invite on Saturday to place third. His time in the event is currently No. 2 in the conference.
