CUNYAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Gerard Nicholson, Baruch

Nicholson averaged 28.5 points per game while shooting .514 (19-37) overall and .476 (10-21) behind the arc in a 2-0 week for the Bearcats as they maintained a share of the top spot in the conference standings. He scored 28 points in a showdown with John Jay on Tuesday night then recorded 29 points with five rebounds against Hunter in a win on Thursday evening.  Nicholson also eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his college career Thursday.

CUNYAC Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week
Brandon Barrett, York

Barrett registered 13 points and 15 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Cardinals while adding 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per game.  In a win over CCNY on Tuesday, Barrett totaled 18 points on 9-19 shooting and grabbed a career-best 20 rebounds.  At Lehman Friday, Barrett notched eight points and 10 boards.

CUNYAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Keyshawn Miller, John Jay

Miller averaged 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Bloodhounds while shooting .433 overall (13-30), while also adding 4.5 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest.  He had 24 points in a road setback to Baruch then posted a double-double (13 points, 12 rebounds) in a home win over Brooklyn Saturday.
