CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week
Izabella Williams, Hunter
Jr., Denver, Colo. / Thomas Jefferson
 
Izabella Williams hit .345 with 25 kills, six aces and 21 digs in a 2-0 season-opening weekend for the Hawks. In a four-set win at Sarah Lawrence, she hit .229 with a team-high 14 kills, six aces and 16 digs. Later in the afternoon against Elms, she posted a .550 hitting percentage with a match-best 11 kills.
 
CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Julia Stuart, John Jay
Fr., Des Moines, IA / Roosevelt

In her collegiate debut, Julia Stuart notched 16 kills, seven aces, 11 digs and one block in a 2-0 weekend for John Jay. In a 3-0 win at NJCU, she finished the match with 13 kills on .200 hitting, adding five aces and nine digs. She closed out the afternoon with three kills and two digs in one set played against Mount Saint Vincent.

Dibjot Kaur, Baruch
Jr., Monroe, N.J. / Monroe Township
 
Dibjot Kaur had a solid opening weekend in her first matches in a Baruch uniform. Across two matches, she notched 26 kills, five aces, 15 digs and two total blocks. She posted 13 kills in each contest, including a strong performance in a win over St. Joseph’s Brooklyn where she hit .360 with a pair of aces and seven digs. 
 
 
The 2024 CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Championship will take place from November 12 through November 15. The six-team, single-elimination tournament will be hosted by the higher seed for each of the first two rounds. The opening round is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12 followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 14, concluding with the championship match on Friday, November 15 at Baruch College.
