CUNYAC Softball Player of the Week
Maleea Gallaspy, John Jay

Maleea Gallaspy helped the Bloodhounds to a 3-3 week, collecting 15 hits, including nine going for doubles while scoring a team-high six runs. In a doubleheader against Eastern Nazarene, she went 7-for-8 at the plate for the day, including a perfect 4-for-4 in the game two victory. Against Hunter in a rematch of last season’s CUNYAC title game, Gallaspy went 3-for-3 in game two and was the driving force in an 11-3 win.
CUNYAC Softball Pitcher of the Week
Danielle Guzzardi, Brooklyn

Danielle Guzzardi went 4-0 in the circle on the week, helping the Bulldogs to four straight wins against York. She tossed a perfect five inning game against the Cardinals on Wednesday and recorded back-to-back no-hitters on Friday at home.
CUNYAC Softball Rookie of the Week
Melanie Millan, Brooklyn

Melanie Millan went 5-for-9 at the plate with 11 runs batted in and seven runs scored across four contests on the week against York.
The 2023 double-elimination CUNYAC Softball Championship is slated to begin on Thursday, May 11 and conclude on Friday, May 12 at Brooklyn College.
