In Brooklyn’s lone game of the week, Gomez produced one goal and one assist in a win over Lehman to help the Bulldogs clinch the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Women’s Soccer Championship.
CUNYAC Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week

Schoch had an impressive week against Lehman and CCNY to lead John Jay to its third consecutive regular-season championship. The rookie began the slate with a pair of goals against the Lightning, converting on each of her shot attempts on goal. Later in the week in a battle for first with CCNY, trailing 1-0 at halftime, Schoch scored the game-tying goal in the 58th minute and later scored the game-winner in the 84th minute.
The 2022 CUNYAC Women’s Soccer Championship will take place from October 29 through November 5. The four-team, single-elimination tournament begins with semifinal action on Saturday, October 29 hosted by the higher seed, concluding with the championship match on Saturday, November 5 at Brooklyn College.
