FLUSHING, N.Y. - The City University of New York Athletic Conference, in collaboration with Inspire Wellness, held professional development training for the conference's coaches and administrators with a focus on sports psychology.
Led by members of Inspire Wellness, including
Paul Groenewal (PsyD),
Kate Martino (LAC, NCC) and
Marissa Norman (PsyD), coaches and administrators across the league's 13 member campuses came together over Zoom for an informative presentation on how to better support, develop and enhance the wellbeing of their student-athletes.
The Sports Psychology Team at Inspire Wellness specializes in the treatment of children, teens, and adults as well as youth, collegiate, and professional athletes, helping them achieve new heights in their performance and personal lives. The session was both educational and collaborative, as throughout the evening, many shared their thoughts and opinions on the discussed topics as part of an open forum.
