Zenia George of Kingsborough Community College earns the Female Athlete of the Week Award this week. George was the KCC women’s volleyball team’s best player (6-8; 5-1 CUNYAC) last week, as the Wave went 1-1 in out of conference games. 

In her team’s win, a 3-2 victory over Dutchess, George had eight kills, five digs, and four service aces. In a loss against Westchester, George tallied four kills with five digs. 

This week, KCC will be at the Fashion Institute of Technology and at Hostos CC in a conference game. KCC will then host Union CC.
