Brooklyn runner SABRINA WASHINGTON is the CUNY Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, for the third time this season, winning the award in back-to-back weeks in September (9/20 & 9/28). Washington, who was also named the CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 4th, ran in the Brooklyn College Invitational this past Sunday, October 10th, finishing the course with a time of 27:07.70; good for 2nd overall in the field of 82 runners. Washington’s effort would go on to help propel the Bulldogs to a 3rd place finish in the 10-team field.
