The defending CUNYAC Individual Champion, CHRIS GUERRERO, was the second Division III runner to cross the finish line at the NJIT Highlander Invitational at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ last Sunday. He placed ninth overall in the 8,000 Meter race in 26:21, leading the Hawks to a sixth place team finish. It marks the Townsend Harris High School alum’s fourth CUNYAC Runner of the Week honor this season. The Hawks are back in action on Saturday, October 16 when they travel to Sewell, New Jersey to compete in the CTC Championships.
