Brooklyn’s SABRINA WASHINGTON (Elmira Free / Elmira, NY) has taken CUNYAC cross country by storm in only her first season running and was named Runner of the Week after being named the conference's Rookie of the Week award for the previous two weeks. However this past Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Lehman College Invitational, Washington led all CUNYAC finishers at the Lehman College Invitational 5K race and was therefore awarded the top weekly honor. Her time of 21:16.45 was good for fifth place out of 127 runners and was the top among CUNYAC racers.
