The freshman forward from Florida strikes again with his third CUNYAC Rookie of the Week award this season. EDWARD GONZALEZ was held scoreless (on three shots) to start the week in a 3-2 loss to Baruch, but he took dead aim at York, scoring both goals in a 2-2 tie to keep the Bloodhounds in the middle of the pack in the Conference standings. Gonzalez put his team and conference leading 11th and 12th goals of the season on the board first with a strike exactly four minutes into the contest with an assist from Steven Castillo. Gonzalez scored again 10:01 later to put the Bloodhounds up by a two, before a pair of second-half goals completed the scoring.
