MALLORY GRUBLER, a CUNYAC All-Star has been a consistent bright spot for Hunter, who are 4-0 in CUNYAC play almost halfway through the season, even though the Hawks have struggled with the most competitive non-league schedule in the Conference. Last week, in five matches (17 total games), the product of Bayside's Benjamin Cardozo High School averaged 4.0 kills per game (68), while hitting an impressive .276 against John Jay, Bates, Elmhurst, Centenary and NYU. She also garnered 2.41 digs and 0.41 blocks a game. The 5'10" junior currently ranks in the top ten in CUNYAC in hitting, kills, digs and blocks, as the Hawks will put a young Brooklyn squad to their biggest test of the season on Tuesday.
