The defending CUNYAC Individual Champion is off to a blazing start in 2010, winning the Baruch Invitational Meet at Van Cortlandt Park, his first meet of the season. The sophomore from Astoria, Queens, ran a 28.17 to pace the field by 16 seconds over the runner-up. He is well ahead of last year’s pace at this early point in the season, only finishing :25 seconds behind year’s Championship time. With 12 complete teams in the field, Guerrero’s Hawks took second place at the event.
