CSI’s Joe Taranto won six matches at five different positions in the lineup for the Dolphins (8-5, 3-0 CUNYAC), who breezed through three matches last week. The Staten Island native won non-conference matches against St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn) #4 singles by a 10-1 score and followed that effort with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham at #2 singles. On Saturday, he finished up with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over York in CUNYAC action at the #3 spot. In doubles, with three different partners at his side, the Curtis High School alumnus topped his opponents at first and second doubles in all three matches. The Dolphins have four matches on the board this week, including conference opponents Brooklyn and City Tech.
