The Bulldogs new catcher, Tess Studholme, earns her second straight CUNYAC Rookie of the Week award after hitting .696 (16-23) in eight games, as Brooklyn went 6-2 including 3-1 in Conference games last week. The 5’4” right-handed product of Kent, England had an outstanding 1.043 slugging percentage and a .741 on-base percentage for the week, as she hit five doubles, one home run and earned two walks besides scoring 11 runs and driving in 10 RBI’s. She’s now batting .517 on the season, as BC and CSI get ready to battle on Tuesday.
