After a week in which the Staten Island (17-7, 5-1 CUNYAC) junior went 1-0 on the mound with a victory over CUNYAC rival John Jay, Pat Gale is honored as the Player of the Week for his performance at the plate. The Tottenville HS product batted .500 in five games, going 10-20 with seven runs scored, four runs batted in, with two doubles, a walk and a stolen base. For the season, the 6’3” lefty is garnering over a run and a RBI a game (1.1 each) and hitting .443 for the Dolphins, who topped the Bloodhounds in two of three last weekend following a loss at Kean University and a win at USMMA-Kings Point.
