For the third time this season, Katelyn Hepworth, a College Staten Island rookie, is named the CUNY Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week. Hepworth continues to prove why she is one of the best new faces to come to the CUNYAC this season. She led the Dolphins with 16 rebounds and added 19 points while shooting .690 from the field (9-13) in the 84-57 defeat of conference opponent John Jay College. Just two days later, the 5’10” forward scored 17 points for CSI in the 82-72 loss to Hunter College. A St. John Villa alum, Hepworth finished the week shooting 64% from the field. She leads the conference in field goal percentage with a whopping .589 while averaging 9.1 rebounds per game (8th) and 11.4 points per game (11th).
