Nick Hamilton-Lopez continues to standout on one of the conference’s best teams, York College. The Cardinals (11-5; 5-0 CUNYAC) beat Baruch and City Tech as the Player of the Week averaged 22.5 points and six assists.
Hamilton-Lopez was instrumental in two key conference victories last week. On Monday, against Baruch, He scored 30 points, shooting 10-16 from the field and 5-10 from three-point range to lead the Cardinals to an 89-85 triumph. Then on Wednesday, in an 84-64 win over City Tech, he added 15 points and handed out eight assists.
On the season, he is second in the CUNY Athletic Conference in both scoring, 20.5 points per game, and assists, 4.2 assists per game.
This week, York is at Hunter College on Wednesday night.
